Lone Star MedStaff specializes in the locum tenens and permanent placement of Physicians, Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners within Texas and has been doing so for over a decade. The Lone Star team is dedicated to helping match the best provider for each practice opportunity throughout Texas.

After serving in leadership roles within the physician recruitment and locum tenens industries for over a decade, Greg Kurmadas began Lone Star MedStaff in 2006 with the intent of providing quality physician recruitment services specifically to the Texas marketplace.

Mr. Kurmadas is nationally recognized as an authority on employment and recruitment issues within the healthcare marketplace and has been called upon to speak on such issues to several organizations including Baylor College of Medicine, the Armed Services Physician Assistant Program at Ft. Sam Houston, TX; University of Texas Medical Branch; and Staffing Industry Analysts. He also has been a contributing editor to various publications including Harris County Medical Journal & Staffing Industry Review.

Mr. Kurmadas was founding President of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO) in 2000 and served in that role for approximately two years. He continues to be called upon for various consulting assignments within the industry.
